I enjoy developing and using musical instruments, particularly those with interesting, expressive interfaces, such as theremin-like instruments or tongue-drum or kalimba-like percussive instruments. I also enjoy synthesis, particularly early sound-generation hardware such as the SID chip.

Newsletters, documentation, technical manuals
I publish a number of feeds and periodicals, notably the monthly Hand Spinning News. This involves information gathering, curation, copy writing, proof reading.
